Retractable belt barriers use a belt housed inside a post or wall-mounted cassette to create temporary queue lines, access restrictions and guided routes. Different models suit different spaces, so compare belt length, post and base design, receiver arrangement, indoor or outdoor rating and any printed-message options.
Choose a freestanding barrier for flexible queue layouts in shops, reception areas, venues and other public-facing spaces. Posts can be repositioned as the required route changes.
Longer-belt systems can reduce the number of posts needed across a wider span. Current QueuePro models include different belt lengths, so choose the product that matches the distance you need to cover.
Wall-mounted barriers are useful for doorways, corridors and areas where a floor-standing post would take up unnecessary space. Belt length, mounting method and receiver options vary by model.
Choose a model specifically designed for outdoor use if the system will be exposed to the weather. Follow the product-specific guidance for base weighting, positioning and weather conditions.
High-visibility belt colours, chevrons and selected stock safety messages are available on compatible systems for restricted areas and temporary work zones. Check the product page for the current belt and message options.
Fixed and floor-removable posts are useful where a defined barrier position is required. The two formats use different floor fittings, so check the installation requirements before ordering.
Selected models can be ordered with custom belt printing for branding or specific messaging. Check the minimum order requirements, printable area and artwork specification on the individual product page.
Roller-based graphic barriers combine queue management with a larger printed panel. They are a different format from a standard belt-only barrier, so compare the footprint, graphic size and configuration carefully.
Measure the route or restricted area before ordering. Consider belt length, the number and position of receiver points, base footprint, access openings and whether the layout needs to move regularly.
Freestanding, wall-mounted, outdoor and fixed systems have different installation and use requirements. Do not assume a standard indoor queue post is suitable for an exposed outdoor location.
For a different style of queue system, compare our rope barriers or cafe barriers. If you need a configuration that is not shown, get in touch with the Display Wizard team.
