A teapot, teacups with yellow tea, pink blossoms, and gold ingots lay on a vivid red surface, possibly in celebration of Chinese New Year. The gold ingots, red fabric, and blossoms together evoke a festive mood and represent wealth. This image could be used to depict festive cultural traditions, family gatherings, and the celebration of Chinese New Year, wealth, and good fortune.

Lunar New Year Displays, Signage & Promotional Print

Bright red triangular banners and spherical lanterns hang in a dense arrangement above a city street. Buildings can be seen on either side of the street, partially obscured by the sheer volume of decorations. The blue sky can be seen in patches above the decorations. The lanterns appear to be illuminated. The scene is joyful and energetic, and could be used for projects about travel, celebrations, or city life.

Create welcoming Lunar New Year displays for events, retail and hospitality

Lunar New Year campaigns can range from restaurant promotions and retail gifting through to community celebrations, cultural events and workplace activities.

Use promotional flags to mark entrances and event zones, poster printing for menus, offers and programme information, and LED lightboxes for illuminated evening messaging.

For larger celebrations, pop-up stands, printed tablecloths, branded counters and Foamex printing can create coordinated welcome areas, information points and photo backdrops.

Build the creative around the celebration you are supporting

Lunar New Year is celebrated across different countries and communities, so artwork should reflect the specific audience and event rather than assuming every celebration uses the same imagery or traditions.

For Chinese New Year campaigns, red and gold are commonly used colours, while other Lunar New Year celebrations may use different visual traditions and cultural references.

A practical display kit might include:

Flags at entrances and event zones
Posters for menus, offers and programmes
A branded table for welcome or information
A pop-up backdrop for photos or presentations
Illuminated displays for evening hospitality
Roller banners for portable messaging
Foamex boards for directions and custom shaped graphics

Where possible, keep the display hardware reusable and update only the printed graphics for future seasonal campaigns.
