What is a fabric banner and how is it printed?
A fabric banner is typically polyester printed via dye-sublimation , which infuses colour into the fibres for vivid, durable graphics and a soft, low-glare finish. We also offer UV print if required.
Are fabric banners washable and reusable?
Yes, dye sublimated polyester graphics can be machine washed (mild detergents, cool settings) and reused; spot cleaning is also fine. UV printed fabric banners are not machine washable but can be wiped gently with a damp cloth.
Are fabric banners fire-rated for venues?
Yes, the textiles we use carry fire certifications required by exhibition venues. Please check each product page for specific details or contact us for further details.
What size fabric banners can you produce?
We can produce graphics up to 5m high with the width only being limited by the length of the roll. In some cases, oversized fabric banners are produced in sections and stitched together for a seamless look.
Are fabric banners suitable outdoors?
Best for indoor or sheltered use; dye-sub fabric is widely recommended for indoor/short-term outdoor settings. For windy/exposed sites, use mesh banners to reduce wind load.
Can you make backlit SEG (silicone edge graphic) fabric banners?
Yes, we offer dye-sublimation or UV printed backlit polyester finished in a various ways including silicone edge. Ideal for lightbox frames, giving bright, even illumination and easy graphic changes.
Do you offer double-sided fabric banners?
Yes, this is achieved using multiple layers of fabric, either 2 or 3 depending on the use of the banner.
Why choose fabric banners instead of vinyl/PVC?
Fabric offers a low glare appearance (better under photography/spotlights) and if printed by dye-sublimation, can be folded and packed away easily. This along with it's lightweight make it ideal for exhibitions and retail displays.
