Prolific North Live 2017 – Display Wizard’s Review

February 15-16th saw Manchester’s EventCity open its doors to over 4000 people as Prolific North Live returned for a second successive year.

The two-day expo, hosted by Don’t Panic Events, attracted 3800 visitors, representing a 60% increase in attendee numbers compared to its inaugural year.130 exhibitors were there to represent the north’s creative sector, featuring the leading exponents of digital innovation, cutting-edge marketing, content and engagement specialists, media companies and suppliers, as well as some of the best business brains from across the UK. Oh, and don’t forget to include Display Wizard in that list of course!Throughout the two days, there were 120 speaker and panel sessions covering all aspects of modern day business, ranging from sourcing start-up finance at the Finance & Growth Hub, to gaining an insight into future technologies in the Keynote theatre – demonstrating the wide spectrum of value on offer for both attendees and exhibitors.

Peter Roth explains how Infusionsoft's software can empower SMEs.

For a show of this magnitude, having a unique exhibition stand was of paramount importance, given the vast array of engaging companies on show. Therefore, we decided the time was right to showcase our 'Vision' Exhibition Stand Hire kit.

The images below demonstrate the whole process from an empty space, right through to the finished build. This particular stand is made to fit a 4m x 3m space, and costs just over £4500 for the full hire service including the additional extras (iPad stand, Literature stand, AV Brackets & Counter).Overall the show was a huge success. Initially, the venue’s location was a slight worry, with it being situated so close to the Trafford Centre, as this could attract visitors who weren’t really interested in what was on offer.

However, this was certainly not the case, and if anything, the quality of attendee has to be up there with some of the best we’ve seen.

So if your business offers similar services to those offered at this year’s show, or perhaps you have a keen interest in digital innovation, marketing or media, or you simply want to keep up with the latest developments in northern business, then make sure you get down for next year’s expo. It’s certainly not to be missed!
