The Peterborough Arena was built in the mid-1950s and comprises of the main exhibition hall, atrium, suite and 250 acres of outdoor space.
Originally named the Peterborough Memorial Centre, the showground moved there in 1971. This allowed many kinds of events to be hosted, whilst a name change in 2012 has kept the venue modern and fresh.
A single-pad arena, it has hosted a wide variety of exhibitions, shows and festivals over the years. Owned by the East of England Agricultural Society, the Arena maintains strong ties to the historic agricultural heritage of the surrounding areas. This has led to an additional 40,000 visitors annually!
