With Strictly Come Dancing nearing the end of it's current series, we thought we would write a quick post about Chrisanne who supply many of the stunning dresses for the popular BBC show.

Back in May we were once again asked by Chrisanne to create the exhibition stand for the last show at the Winter Gardens for the Blackpool Dance Festival. However this year’s stand had to be extra special as Chrisanne were celebrating their 25th anniversary!

Established in 1986, Chrisanne make and sell fabulous ballroom and Latin dresses, dance practice wear and also menswear. They have created dresses for popular TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, Britain’s Got Talent and the Royal Variety Show and have also featured in OK magazine! So the stand had to be nothing less than amazing to showcase such wonderful items.

Our challenge was to provide a stage that was both versatile and multifunctional…

During the day, the stand was designed to enable customers to browse through the beautiful dresses and fabrics in a spacious environment. We even built in some changing rooms so buyers could try on their dresses. Another floor was then added where people could pay for their purchases. Then in the evening a crowd of around 200 people joined Chrisanne by the stand to help celebrate there 25th year. Dance champion and star of Strictly Come Dancing Karen Hardy took to the stage to auction off items such as a crystallised ballroom dresses and champagne sets decorated with Swarovski crystals. All of the guests were then treated to Bucks Fizz and cupcakes, which featured the Chrisanne 25th anniversary logo.

We are proud to have played such a part in a truly memorable day in Chrisanne’s 25-year history.
